This was great! I love the layout (as I had one very similar before a cowriter selfishly deleted a work of mine aw) and it definitely just works with your words, which are great. "Her laughter sounds like what silk would sound like if silk ever laughed." I have never, ever met or known of someone to make comparisons like that as I do. Love it.

It's odd that there are no eyes for her, because I picture her with striking blue eyes - though hey! according to the character page photos, she is blue-eyed. (I think I'm magical, hey hey hey) "It’s like... it’s a cardinal sin. Up there with the Unforgivable Curses." is definitely my favourite line.

    Beautiful writing x

The Marauders are my absolute favorite people to ever be written (well that's an exaggeration but still I love them very much) and this is PERFECT!

I adore stories set in the Marauder era, and this one is already amazing. I haven't read a good Remus Lupin story in ages, and this seems promising.

I love the summary, by the way. It immediately caught my eye. Can't wait for you to update!

*runs around screaming because yay, another Marauder story*

I’m good with that. So I’m very excited for this because you don’t see many good Marauder stories just because…well I’m not sure but you just don’t.

Darcy seems like an interesting character. I like the part in the summary where it’s explicitly said that you don’t tell her secrets because I am what you call a blabber mouth and I like reading about others to know that I am not alone in my plight of loose lips.

And then I laughed so hard at the way the boys were teasing Remus. Usually when you read Marauder stories the boys always seem to have no interaction or it’s not very friendly interaction (which I don’t understand). It’s a nice change to see them acting like friend.

    I can’t wait for more.

I'm really loving this so far, even though there's only two chapters. And wait, Hugh Dancy? Thank you. You've managed to combine a childhood crush and my love for Lupin in one story. Bless you, really. (I really don't know why I'm typing like this, probably because all I've been reading lately is Harry Potter...)
Okay, I'm done rambling. I really love your writing style in this, and the witty lines and... Yeah, I'm done.

    Hugh Dancy? What? No way.
Okay, it cracks me up how angry Darcy got with Lupin for calling her Darcianna. I swear she wanted to slap him right in the face or something. Probably something worse.
Those boys bickering is hilarious though. Remus is getting all kind of flack from everyone, it seems! But they're his best buds so they mean well, I'm sure XD I can’t help but feel bad for him, even though I have high hopes that things will start looking up for him soon!
This story is really wonderful so far and I can’t wait to see what else is in store!

So Shauna (v) told me to read this and just ugggggh someone else who writes Marauders fiction on this site yay. This is so cute. I love Darcy and I love the way she interacts with Remus. And praise be you for writing Remus so well. He's one of the hardest characters for people to pin down.

    loooooove this!

I really wish I could comment on the writing or fantastic lines or say something constructive but agh I'm sorry I think I'm just going to cry over the fact that it's Remus Lupin (I've got such a soft spot for Remus Lupin like holy crap I literally cannot right now) and I swear when I started this comment I had something worthwhile to say but I think all I'm going to do is ramble.

/awkward comment is very awkward and kind of pointless but I love it already so yeah

Though in terms of your casting I can see him as Remus. He fits in pretty well. And I so love Darcy already (and I'm also sorely tempted to call her Darcianna in the comments, even though she's a character and not a real person).

I guess it goes without saying that I love everything you write and that I'm so stoked for wherever it is this is going and I can't wait until James and Peter and Lily make their appearances (and Sirius, though he cameo'd in this chapter). Weird

I like how the beginning is very blunt and choppy. It gives the setting without making it boring. The fast pace of the first few paragraphs give a good hook and really make you want to read more. I also love that it's a Lupin fanfic from his school days. I haven't seen many of those and certainly not written this way.

I'm in love with this first chapter. I don't really know how to explain it, but it just draws me in and the writing style to me is really good. I also love the lazy Sirius cameo. I like how he described her laugh as how silk would sound if it could laugh. It's a very unusual way of putting it and makes the story that much more enjoyable.

I love his thoughts after he says hi. It was absolutely spot on and hilarious. I also like Darcy's character. She seems like she's going to be really fun to read about.

Also, I love the summary in the layout. I knew that I had to read the chapter after I read that little snippet about Darcy.

Haha, this is great. I was chuckling to myself all the way through reading this. It's quite a change to see a fanfic written in the time of the Marauders, and so far you've judged it very well. You've got Sirius and Remus absolutely spot on, and I absolutely love the way Remus evaluates himself after he says 'Hi' to Darcy. I can't get over it xD

So yeah, I know it's only the first chapter, but I'm in love with this story already. It's different in a funny way, very well written, and I am almost certain that it's going to continue that way. I'm interested to see how the thing turns out, since a plot line hasn't really been established yet :) Keep up the good work!
