Haha, I think it's so cute how she wanted to do a pre-workout before the one with Matt, trying to prepare herself. I don't blame her, though, I'm pretty sure I'd do the same thing, whether I really thought it would help or not. Hahaha.

I feel bad for her that no one has bothered with her since her Uncle's passing. And it's really easy to see why she'd be so gullible to Matt's charms, since he's managed to get her attention just when she was feeling the most alone. He's good... very good. Haha.

Aww, it's sad to learn she has no family or real friends. Poor girl! I think now that I know that, I'll probably hate on Matt even more if he fucks her over and breaks her heart... gah!

Hmm, I really look forward to seeing where this budding little friendship is going to go... good or bad? I don't really know. Hahaha.

Poor girl, scolding herself for answering the door in a towel... I don't blame her. I mean, when she's in the middle of drying herself off and someone knocks on the door, she can't be blamed for not thinking about "hey, I should put a robe on" since it's so surprising someone would be knocking on the door. It doesn't seem like she gets many visitors... or any, for that matter. Hahaha.

Hmm... his little story about how his wife left him... I'm just on the fence about that one. On the one hand, it seems sincere and genuine, like that really could of happened to him. But on the other, it's just a little too much like what she's going through for it to seem like it's not just a load of bullshit to get her to lower her guards around him.

And honestly, I know he's trying to be nice by offering to help her get back on her feet, taking her to the gym and getting her to work out... but I can't help but be a little put off by that... I mean, it'd be nice if he could just accept her how she is at the moment. It'd be different if she commented on her weight gain herself and said she was unhappy, because then that is in a way asking for help... but since she never said anything and he's just offering it... well, it feels like he's doing it more for himself so she looks hotter, than to genuinely help her.

Either way, I'm still on the fence about whether Matt has good intentions or if he's already playing her... so well done for keeping me bouncing back and forth on it! I like that I can't straight up tell one way or another, so keep it up!

Btw, my only small, tiny bit of criticism is that the font of your layout is really tiny and kind of hard to read. But it's not a big deal, as I just revert it back to the default layout and I can read that fine, so yeah, not a big deal, just thought I'd mention it

I'm so glad I found this story! It was completely by chance, but I'm really enjoying it. The layout is beautiful, the writing is a little hard to read against the background, but I really like it. I almost feel bad for her, it's like she really is his pray, and she's so oblivious to it. The pizza scene was hilarious. she couldn't have put more thank a towel on? Anyway,I freaking totally love this story so far, it's one of my favorites at the moment, I hope you update soon, I really want to read more. Good job!

Well, I must admit that when I came across this story, the summary really got my attention. It was intriguing and I liked the sound of the first part... it was very powerful, for such few words.

I liked the first chapter, too. Getting to see what her life is like now without her beloved Uncle. It was sad, even though we never got to know her Uncle as a character... I found myself frowning quite a bit for her. I couldn't imagine having to get used to living alone in a huge house... the silence would be deafening.

The meeting with Matt was smooth. I half expect to later find out he planned it, like he saw her walking by and caught up with her, hoping for an excuse to talk to her. He strikes me as a hunter... and poor little Arabella is his unsuspecting prey.

It's not surprising she would take to her bed for a week. Grief is a bitch of an emotion... especially if you don't have someone to support you through it. She seems very lonely, it's sad.

The encounter with the pizza guy and Matt was amusing. Poor girl. But hey, at least she still looked good in a towel... otherwise they wouldn't have been staring, right? Hahaha.
