I found this through the Mibba Tumblr, and seeing as I also have an interest in school shootings (I'm actually writing one at the moment, too), I had to come and read it.
One thing I need to compliment: although I am a casual ATL fan, I'm not hugely familiar with the band members. So it was nice to be able to read this as if it was an original fiction, where I didn't need to know a whole lot about the band to understand things. Kudos for that!
I really like the way that things played out, and (at this point) how it's fairly open-ended. I don't know what the epilogue will bring, but even this would be a nice little ending.
Overall, I think it was nicely done.
I've always loved "Cassie" - it's probably my favourite Flyleaf song. Have you read the book that Cassie's mother wrote after the massacre? If not, and you're interested in the Columbine shootings and how Cassie got to the point where she felt the need to say 'yes', I HIGHLY recommend it. It's a fantastic read. It's called "She Said Yes" by Misty Bernall.
@ raven_k that is amazing. it is so hard to make the characters scared and then have the readers emotional. this was a very difficult thing for me to write. i'm still in the works of the epilogue :)
This sounds really good, and I really like the way you write. It could be pretty goddarn interesting, haha. ANYWAYS, I REALLY HOPE YOU UPLOAD THE REST SOON CAUSE AS I SAID, IT SOUNDS GREAT c:
