@ Kaly18 @ Boze Thank you for the well wishes! A good night's sleep and some sambucol kicked the cold before it got too bad so I was feeling much better for the Holiday! Glad you enjoyed the chapter, my dears!
@ apocketfulofposy Thank you so much! I've had the name in my back pocket for a while. I wasn't familiar with the Hebrew spelling and original translation, only the spelling of Swahili origin, it's great to know that it resonates either way! And just know that your comments don't come across as insincere! I truly appreciate them and am so glad you enjoy the story!
I love the name they've chosen - it's actually one I've come across before - as it's my friend's sister's name (hers is spelled Adiya)! The exact Hebrew meaning of the name is 'treasure of God' (or ornament/jewel of God), but in modern Hebrew, it means 'gift of God'. I think that makes the name even more beautiful.
Anyway, that aside, another great update. I know I gush over this story a lot, and I hope it doesn't come across as insincere, as it certainly is sincere.
Another brilliant update. The moment between Sid and Wyn, after the Pens won Stanley (oh please let it next year, like in the story), well it was just beautiful. I'm not ashamed to say I shed a tear.
Every time I see there is an update to this story, it brings a smile to my face, and I have to drop everything to read it! Ha ha.
