This is so good. So original, you've taken something that happens to people all the time, every single day and created a beautiful story. I love Bratt stories but what I love even more are GOOD Bratt stories and this is good! I really like high school Bratt stories too, when they're done well.

Onto the story! I thought their budding friendship was so cute and sweet, Matt taking the time to read what Brian was trying to say to him and communicate with him in a way that Brian understood. The crush that Brian had on Matt, too adorable! And I was expecting Matt to react that way when he found out that Brian was gay and that he was attracted to Matt, after all, Matt had a rep to keep and uphold, if he'd reacted in any other way, I wouldn't have believed it. I absolutely LOVED Brian and Johnny's conversations, they had me laughing so hard!! They were really sweet too, Johnny being there for him when he was struggling with himself and what to do about his crush, too cute man! When Matt found that letter..my god! I held my breath just sat on the edge of my seat, reading so fast, hoping and praying that Matt wouldn't kick off or anything, I felt so bad for Brian, just wanted to give him a huge hug! The fact that, after everything, Brian still went to Matt in his time of need and Matt didn't turn him away, my heart cannot handle it!! The 'sex' scene was really good too, I'm glad they didn't actually go all the way, cause, I'm sorry, but most people who have just discovered feelings for one another don't jump into bed with each other straight away. I thought it was still, really hot, really romantic, I totally swooned! Haha

All in all, a great story, which I thoroughly enjoyed reading! :D

As simple as that. Really. I was just looking for something to read and never would have even dared to wish to stumble upon something so perfect. This is definitely one of my favorite one shots I have ever read on this site, ever. Seriously. I tip my head to you, this is so insanely awesome. My mind is blown! Can I just...hug you for writing such a fucking amazing piece of art?

First of all... it's quite difficult to find an original plot sometimes, and this was just as good as it yets. Brian having such a dramatic past, having lost his mother and his hearing? Fuck dude, that was so unique and I am in love with that idea, as sad as it is. You did a really great job at keeping this realistc and getting Brian's feelings across, immediately. You got me into the story right away and I could feel that amazing atmosphere you created and I hope all the other readers could as well (Though I'm sure they can). Your writing is brilliant. The way you described all of this, wow. Just...incredible.

I really enjoyed the length of it too. Sometimes people leave out a lot because "It's a oneshot", but this was all jsut right. Great amount of detail and you left nothing out that would give the story an amazing flow, because it had it. It was perfect.

I lvoe having Brian was the little...weaker chracter. The more sensitive one, which is also kind of is in this story. I find it adorable and it's not used very often; and thus it's even better. God, how could anyone not love this?
I could picture it all so perfectly; Brian worries and insecurities, and Matt being the aggressive, loud kid with a too big attitude. And them coming together and changing both their worlds for the better, perfect. I love Bratt, even though I've stepped back a bit...and wow...dude, just...my heart. It was almsot frustrating to read about Brian's struggles and how he talked to Johnny (which was adorable and funny by the way) - and when Matt found the letter I swear my heart stopped for a moment because I was kind of scared of what was going to follow. I felt so abd for Brian....but that just made everything more intense and even better when he went to talk to Matt because he felt alone.
SO ADORABLE AND...GOSH. It so hot and so damn romantic at the same time when they finally got it on, and I love reading about Matt kind of changing step by step, by step. (I was just like: Yeah...dont fight it, just go with it, Matthew, go with it )

And him hearing Matt's voice finally...and his hearing returning in that very moment? You might as well could have stabbed me through my heart, that was too much perfection to take!

You shouldn't doubt this, it was actually really sweet. Well written over all, if only a few confusing parts where it jumps scenes and tenses, but other than those, it's good.

Writing aside, the plot was lovely. Sweet and charming. The idea of Brian losing his hearing and having no one to really turn to is pretty depressing. It's made all the more sad by the simple fact that Matt's first instinct when confronted with Brian's attraction is to push him away and cut contact, even going so far as bulling him and humiliating him in front of others. Very realistic on that front, so great job there.

To the "sex" scene. Loved it. Most people would have rushed them into full on penetration and it just would have taken away from not only the story, but the relationship that's being set up. Matt and Brian are new to this, they're new to each other. Limits aren't set, they haven't explored each other yet, or even their feelings properly. They're in no proper state to be going full frontal with each other. So excellent job there, seriously, kudos. Them getting off on each other in such a way was not only sweet, but completely realistic. This is what shy, new to each other teenage boys do. They "frot." Haha.

I really enjoyed this, and I'd happily wait around for an extension to this, possibly another one-shot of them a little older, a little more experienced with each other. Maybe they're comfortable enough with each other to take that bigger step and do the "deed." All in all though, amazing one-shot, really enjoyed it!
