    Oh the feels you just evoked within me! This is so powerful and raw. The amount of beauty that you can portray in such a short story is amazing. That's true talent. The imagery and description was done in a way that I could just envision the man as though I myself had watched him for six years. Truly outstanding job!

    I have to agree with the other comments: This is beautiful. It's so well written (even if, as you say, there may be mistakes - it's real, it's raw), and this is perfect. I see in my mind the events unfolding, with just enough detail in the writing.

    So emotional and perfect.

    This is just beautiful, absolute perfection. I agree with the comment below me, without your blog I never would have found this and I'm so glad you made that blog.

    This piece made me feel like I was going on a journey, learning more about the man as it progressed and it was also an emotional journey. Absolutely amazing xxx :-)

    OKAY THIS ALMOST NEVER HAPPENS I was almost moved to tears omg.
    You've portrayed a perfect example of life. As it really is, not as we imagine it.
    That's so bloody hard to do.
    I pictured every little thing as I read: his smile, his old grubby guitar, even the people walking past outside that you didn't even mention. You're a brilliant writer and I'm not sure why you don't have more readers and recs and comments and subs. Thank you for posting that blog about comment swap because if you didn't I would never have read this. ;-;
    Again, bloody amazing. Putting link in signature to this.

    I honestly adored this piece, it was truly eloquent. You only had eight paragraphs and yet I could picture this man's entire lifetime - his legacy, his struggles, his morals, what his heart is made of. You write with such a strong amount of voice and imagery, and personally for me those are the most important things a book must have. The character development was outstanding, and most one shots have absolutely no character development because they're so short, but this really did make my heart melt. You're a truly gifted writer and I cannot wait to read more by you. I recommended and subscribed, you really need more love on your stories :) You're without a doubt my favorite author on the site, your work is just how I like it and I can't wait for more! Never, ever stop writing because you're very blessed.

    God Bless

    Oh, man... it's so tragic and so sad.

    I enjoyed reading the imagery you painted of the man.
    I would have kept reading the story if the story wasn't completed. It was short, but good. It was relatable as well, which I appreciate in stories such as these.
