Oh my gosh, these two are adorable with their awkward-yet-not-super-awkward morning after. Both afraid to really say anything incase the other just wanted to pretend it never happened. It's good how easily/quickly they got back into normal friendship mode teasing each other, though. I kinda feel like maybe they're going to try a secret friends with benefits type thing and somebody is going to catch them or notice them acting differently around each other despite them trying their hardest to not act differently. I don't think it'll be easy from here on out, though.
Near the end, there is a small typo. I'm assuming the girl's name is Crystal, but there isn't an s.
PS : no such thing as a chapter that is too long. Looking forward to reading more :)
You have no idea how happy this chapter made me! I've really missed this story.
I don't think things will be awkward between them in the future. Not only have they been friends forever and gone through a lot, they're old. Wait, let me rephrase that, they're mature adults who can handle situations without getting weird, not young kids who freak over every little thing. Plus, I'm kinda getting the vibe that they've both sorta harbored feelings for each other for awhile, but were content to just remain friends incase the other didn't feel the same.
Good luck with the rest of your classes. Looking forward to reading more!
OH MY GOODNESS THEY HOOKED UP!!!!!!!!!!! I really hope it's not like super awkward between them, they'd be a cute couple. Can't wait for more, update soon! (:

I'm so happy you updated. To be honest, I had forgotten about it. I love the relationship between Z and Angie, and I hope that despite whatever drama comes their way they're able to use their history to get through it. I hope that made sense. It's late and I'm exhausted. Oh, one more thing, I really like how detailed you are. It's nice being able to picture things in my head as if I was really there.
