I hear that. Any sort of dark background with white lettering makes me eyes go crazy. I try to make smart choices but rely on anyone reading to tell me if it's crap or not.

Hey, layouts are important! To grumpy geezers like me, anyway; probably 14 out of 15 stories I will change to the default layout. I don't care how 'pretty' it is supposed to be, most of the layouts make it hard for me to read. I am too old to be swayed by 'cuteness' in stories in appearance or storyline; it's readable or it's not, and that can apply to content, to grammar and punctuation, and to formatting. And I'm too young to find squinting at my computer screen an option due to poor layout choice.

Thanks Jayess! Truth be told, I am completely unfamilar with himself. I only wrote it to brighten someone's day.

PS: glad you and your daughter liked the layout.

I have no idea who this player is, but this story is well-written (as per your usual!) and pretty well fleshed out - it can be hard to get all the info in a one shot! Nice layout; my daughter says she likes the colored hearts : )
