I liked that you put in some of her past in this chapter. It's great to know more about Annabelle. I also like that she wanted to tell Billie which shows how much she values him.

Fallout... this was easily your best chapter yet. I feel like so much happened in such a short space of time. First of all, when you mentioned the note she'd made for herself about his addiction, I was like, UH-OH, because if he finds out she was fishing for that he is going to be so hurt and it made me really pissed at her even though I know it's her job and all. Then when she said she was going to fit in the birthday dinner and the fancypants work do (I do not trust boss man, btw) I was all ARGH because that can't end well, and I just find it really interesting that I figured this story would be about Annabelle falling in love with him and not being able to take the no strings business but BJ was so vulnerable in this chapter and its pretty clear to me now that he is going to be the one doing the falling. Oh and then there was Yeah we’ll see about that when I have you pinned and moaning on my bed. Hurry up. LOL I think getting that text message from BJ should be enough to kill a person dead. Sorry for the ramble... I love this! <3
