I just finished getting caught up on this story and, oh my, I hate that it took me so long to start reading! You're an absolutely phenomenal writer and I love Ace as a character. I'm also a huge fan of how slow you're taking their relationship, and putting a lot of detail into your updates :) It's very unique that Ace also has cancer - don't see a lot of that in other stories. Carol is a bitch... I seriously hope Ace puts Carol and even Lori in their places. Two annoying women who don't do anything for the group but cry and complain. I know Carol just lost Sophia but damn, lol. I think it's time for Ace to grow a backbone! Either way, love this story and hope you update soon!January 22nd, 2014 at 07:42am

really enjoying it- her being so darn quiet that even Daryl finds it frustrating at times is so funny
and I like the twist- that she's got cancer- not that I actually like that she's sick, but ya know, it's different from most stories on here..
Daryl knows that somethings up and I just wait for him to either get her to tell him, hearing her and Dale talking OR maybe seeing all of the pill bottles?? well, at least I think and kinda hope that he will find out.. now that she's actually starting to talk just a little bit more and they seem to get along most of the time
though I am so curious about that thing at the CDC- Jenner mumbling about stuff and the file she got.. did he mean that she is the answer to the zombie thing, or something else??
anyways, I hope you'll update soon
