Hi there, I'm here to judge for the fan fiction writing contest!
In all honesty, I know I was supposed to feel bad for Matt, but I didn't feel sad or angsty towards any character. I thought Matt was silly for staying with someone who says 'I know you hate it when I flirt but I hate it when you get so jealous over nothing! You need to let it go', because that made no sense to me? Of course Matt would get jealous, because Alex is a flirt?? Alex came across as manipulative and childish, and Matt seems like a good guy so it kinda sucked (for me) that they ended up staying together.
As for the actual writing, I thought it was well-written and it definitely made me feel something as evident by how invested I got into the characters just now, haha! It was easy to read and made for an entertaining story.
