Thank you! It's so hard to write Patrick as an asshole, but I like it because it's different. I don't think he and Ava are going to break up, but he'll certainly find out about Pete and Ava and he isn't going to be happy!

Definetly! And I mean i can also see that Pete's always gotten the girl but Patrick should be more mature and understand that Ava was a new girl but she definetly fucked up. Even with them being real like rock stars I think that it's awesome that you're putting your characters in real life situations because that happens all the time. I can never write Patrick as being a dick but seeing your point of view makes me so curious as to how you'd keep it going. It would force me to see him as a character differently which is awesome!

I like that you think Pete is being the bad guy in this part and that Patrick's insecurities are understandable. In my head I had Patrick as the villain and Pete kind of as the hero protecting Ava, but I love that you kind of see it as the opposite because I think that's going to shape how I write the next chapter! There's so many directions to go in, and Ava fucked it up by kissing Pete because she went against everything she was telling Patrick she wasn't. I'm not sure if I'm going to go deeper into it or not, but I'm really thrilled by how differently we perceived this!!

As for Patrick's temper, I wonder if he just sees himself as a short-tempered person because he's usually so polite and well-mannered, or if he really can lose his temper easily. There's something I can play around with I guess!!
