Two in a week! I'm super happy with this. And I'm super happy that Jambie is happening.

I too can see the obvious differences between Bea and Colbie. I love Bea, but I didn't warm to her as quickly as I have Colbie, although I can't pinpoint exactly why. Colbie might have her past issues, but she just seems more together and in control, at least that's the impression I get.

I'm glad the differences between Bea and Colbie are obvious. I worried they would seem too alike, but in my mind they are completely different. I'm curious what kinds of things you mean. I love your insights!
James just seems like a no nonsense guy, in a kind of innocent carefree way. Like she could have said no and he'd have been sad but he would have gone one, y'know? They're both so different from Bea and Sid it makes it easy to switch back and for when I'm writing.

TWO CHAPTERS WITHIN A WEEK?! Oh now were getting spoiled lol ;) I just loved this, and how for example she's so different from Bea. Not that they aren't both free spirits but certain things have influence over Bea's life that don't seem to even cross Colbie's mind. (Or at least not yet). I totally wasn't expecting this, and of love that James was so forward and went to get what he wants. And I love that he calls Leo a pylon hehe. Oh James

I am back!
Oh man! She must have had a good night. I'm glad I didn't miss the mark, my drug experience is limited to the rare joint and doctor prescribed pain killers (neither of which have inspired such exciting events) Although if I could guarantee everything would turn out splendidly and I wouldn't die or hurt my organs I'd probably do it in a heartbeat. But y'know... gotta worry about my sanity and organs.

Yay you're back! :) haha my friend once sat in front of a stereo moving her hands around and going "pow pow" ...turns out she thought the lights on the stereo were having a light saber fight with her so you did it justice!

Wow. What a trip. LOL. Can't even imagine taking acid, but I love how she called James and told him all about her trip.

I love your pointed yet nonchalant author's notes. But I digress.,. It has been a while, too long actually and need you to update this story too. My whining aside, I like where his is going and it's cute seeing her struggling to be casual yet she knows she has a huge crush on him. :)

I know u mean he's a bit if a prick but which guy isn't? I can't hate him I mean at least not yet he hasn't done anything to hate. He just isn't James but he isn't meant to be.

I usually get strange, unbalanced, obsessive, or completely out of it, but I like unorthodox! I'm going to adopt that one.

I love Leo's existence. He's such a perfect antagonist but I can't hate him, neither can Colbie.

I love how unorthodox you are (in the best way)!! Yes Colbie is her own person, her own character and in order for this story to be as respectful of characters as Stay Stay Stay, then it takes time and work. Loved this! And her relationship with Leo is interesting but not uncommon. They aren't using each other, but they are. And also the Facebook think, so unexpected lol but shows he's thinking about her...

Unfortunately, especially in the art world, Leo's personality isn't all that uncommon. I haven't quite hammered out an age but I'm thinking he's probably a few years older than her, a little younger than James.

I like to keep everyone waiting, build up the suspension before I present what we all want in a nice little package haha.

Oh you dear American! K.D is the food of the gods for lazy people who can't cook. It's short for Kraft Dinner which I believe is just Macaroni and Cheese to the rest of the world. So K.D is Canadian for boxed macaroni and powdered cheese. Not as exotic as we like to believe.

Ok, well let me say you've got me hooked again in just what? 5 chapters? I love the dichotomy between James and Leo. They are set up in such a way that you see the difference about we don't know Leo or James enough really to be along assumptions. I believe that Leo's personality is probably quite common just as she said not something he's used to. Is he also a bit older than she is? (Ps. Can we get ages just so I don't assume something incorrect :) thanks!)
But yea I love the way you've set this up I mean we have to remember that she's new to the Pitt and and we can make assumptions and if you hand 'Jambie' or to is in he first chapter it's going to be so easy and obvious and I know that's not your style. There's so much you can do with this, can't wait for more!!

Life is too short to spend it with people who make you feel bad about yourself and who degrade your work and your ambitions. If it's unintentional, he's not paying attention to her feelings. If it's intentional, it's cruel with the potential of turning into abuse. Don't go there, girl! Pretty isn't enough to excuse meanness! Better a date with someone who manages a drugstore or an honest machinist who likes you for you than a pretty boy who laughs at your expense and not with you.

Ooh I don't like that Leo at all, what a pretentious eejit!
