Someone out There Loves You - Comments

Okay, so I'm going to be commenting from the last chapter I didn't read which is this one, chapter 9, onwards! I'll admit Chloe and Gerard's little spat about him convincing her to go out with him was very funny, I couldn't help but laugh the entire way through. However, when they were chest to chest I felt butterflies in my tummy and couldn't help but say "OOOOOOOOHHHHH GET IT GEE!" but his smartass remark had me laughing again. Man how I wouldn't mind being in her position! I think their relationship will never bore me, from their banters to the cute but sexually charge moments like the one I mentioned. It's all amazing and gets me excite to see where things head! And I'll admit, I'm actually happy that Chloe can be herself around Gerard, it's hard to find people who are not only okay with you being yourself but who you're also comparable with, even if you want to kill them sometimes. But I think that just makes the relationship stronger. And as her her not wanton to fall for Gerard, I feel like she might have already crosse that line without even realizing it, but I guess time will tell! (Or at least until I fully catch up, ha!) and holy cow! I didn't expect Chloe to just blurt out the questions she did about how Gerard makes money, I will admit that to a small extent I agree with her but I think that she as being quite judgmental with him. In addition, I think Gerard might have been hurt by her comments, even if he hid it well. But the fact that she was jealous of girls checking Gerard out gives me more than enough hope that she'll never truly not want him around. Amazing chapter!! Off to the next one I go!! Xxoxoo

Okay, so... You already know how much I enjoyed this chapter, but I'll tell you again anyway, because I'm nice! This was so sweet and fluffy! I love how easy and natural they are with each other! I enjoyed the parts about the boob holding, and about him suggesting sex is a cure for headaches! =D. It was cute that she really wanted to ask him, but she was also shy/hesitant, like she wasn't sure what would happen? Aww it's cool that he wants to stop, and I really hope things'll work out awesome for them! As you already know, I really love this Gerard! Anyway, awesome chapter! Can't wait for the last few! Xx.

I think the plot of this story is great; it’s obviously such an odd relationship when one of the two is a prostitute and that alone is a gateway for all sorts of drama to unfold in the story. The summary is short and sweet but in my opinion it’s effective. It reveals the perfect amount of information to draw you in without giving too much away.

Andrea and Macy made me giggle a lot in the first chapter but I thought they came off as slightly annoying because of the way they were pushing Chloe to get laid.

Nobody would have realised that from Monday to Friday we were professionals who were in charge of other people. this line made me laugh because it’s exactly how my cousin acts. She works in parliament house but once the weekend comes she drinks her arse off

The way you described the nightclub painted a picture in my head, you did a really good job of describing it. I also really liked the insight you gave about how Gerard feels about his job and sex life, and speaking of sex, I’m so glad the sex scenes in this are realistic and not cliché like a lot of others I’ve seen in stories.

I am not a My Chemical Romance/Gerard Way fan but I was still able to read this and enjoy it. There are some spelling and grammar mistakes but apart from that this story is great and I’ve given it a recommendation

I love their relationship! Oh gosh, Gerard's cocky attitude and Chloe's passive aggressiveness just makes me laugh at how their conversations go, especially when Gee gets a rise out of her. I don't know why but I find his big-headed attitude kind of attractive, even more so because Chloe knows how to whip him back into line. Mikey's right though, things are far more desirable when their unattainable and it just makes me so much more excited to see how far Gerard's willing to go to try to get Chloe. And may I add that his client Gillian is a grade A bi-atch? I know some people like that in my life and all I can say that I feel Gerard because he's basically stuck between a rock and a hard place regarding her. Meanie. Anyway, I'm excited to see what Gerard does next and even how Chloe felt after their little 'hang out' together, I wonder if her views about him have changed? Even if only slightly? Once again amazing job!! xxxx

Hello again, you'll be hearing a lot from me so strap in! Hahaha! I'm glad Chloe forgave her friends, it would have sucked had she still been angry at them before they moved out. But they do seem like a stubborn bunch I will admit, reminds me of my best friend. Lord knows I love her but sometimes I just wanna tie her up and beat her like a pinata. On another note, I'm actually happy that Chloe and Gerard's second 'coffee shop run in' turned out much less dramatic than the first and actually left me grinning like a mad woman at what their hangout night would turn out like! I love Gerard's cocky humor and how he's always trying to get a rise out of Chloe, their playful banters make me giggle, even know looking back over the end when Gerard said “If I didn't know any better, I’d say you think I’m a man whore.” and Chloe's response just made me laugh and yell out "BURN!" I love how witty and playful you can make your characters but also how in depth and intense they can get.I'm excited to see what their night will turn out like! I guess I'm glad Chloe decided to indulge in something sweet after all! xxx

Sorry for the confusion, I forgot to label the POV! My bad!!!

The real world is a scary place, so I think Gerard's actions are understandable. I was hoping to surprise people with the sketch, because you're right, he hasn't quite realised that their encounter had more of an impact on him than he thought. It reminded him of a part of himself he let go of. Gerard has been playing a character of sorts, and now he's unsure how much he likes it anymore. I think Chloe's hurt was realistic, or it would be my reaction to be honest. Like you said, it would make you feel worthless and uninteresting. I kinda tried to show a nicer side to Gerard at the end of the chapter, which I hoped I achieved. And, seeing as this isn't the end of the story, they will see each other again, it's a good bet Chloe will call Gerard. Or maybe not :p

It was sort of funny, when first reading this I thought it was in Chloe's POV until I got to the part where it said 'She was one of the younger women I gave my services to' and was like "Wait what?...OH!!!!" Then I went back over it in Gerard's POV. I'm a ditz at times hahaha. I totally feel for Gerard, the 'real world' can be an extremely scary place and I find even myself shitless many times when thinking about it. Which makes me think that since he had the necessary...'tools' he needed to acquire the job he currently has and the lifestyle he possesses there was no real harm done since he was well aware of the choices he was making. People generally choose things they can be certain will work as uncertainty and taking risks can either end amazingly or horribly and many fear the latter, so to me at least Gerard’s choices make sense. I can understand why he'd be hurt by the way Chloe had looked at him, anyone would, but I'm just happy that didn't give him the intensive to hate her. This chapter was actually took a surprising turn if I'm going to be honest, I didn't think Gee would really think about Chloe to the point of unconsciously drawing her, which made my heart skip a beat fyi!! It was adorable and it felt like it was out of his normal character's bravado to think twice about someone who wasn't a client – or even then - which just made me love him even more for it! It also made me think that maybe Chloe made a bigger impact on him then he thought she did, maybe once he had a taste of being the more dominant one during intercourse Gerard realized just how much he longed for the feeling. I was surprised by how Chloe had reacted to seeing him though, just like Gerard, I had imagined her to be pissed off, embarrassed, or maybe even both but not hurt. Then again thinking back I can see why she'd be so hurt, I would hate my friends if they pitied me to the point of paying someone to sleep with me because it would just make me feel worthless, like no one could ever really find me intriguing or striking in some way. When Chloe was spilling her guts to Gerard I really felt for her because in many ways I'm like her, I'm used to fading into the back and being out shined by my - more attractive - friends, unlike her though I don't scowl at people haha. I was really happy that she allowed Gerard to explain himself instead of shutting him out, had she done that I think I would have cried in frustration and punched a wall or - since it's closer - my computer screen. That would suck to say the least. My feels were going haywire at that scene and I just wanted Gee to hug her but I guess he isn't really used to being intimate with people, women especially. But I could be wrong. It made me smile when he complemented her honestly and even gave her some advice. I could feel the awkwardness towards the end but despite that I wholeheartedly hope Chloe calls Gerard, yes they had both said that their 'happy' being single but having a friend never hurt and with them having already slept together and her knowing what he does for a living the expectation of a 'relationship' from each other is out the window - as far as I can tell, but I hope not - so maybe them being friends could benefit each other in some way. Chloe doesn't really seem to share the lifestyle her friends do - or at least I think - and Gerard - if the beginning is anything to go by - is a pretty chill guy. They both seem to like the same things and I guess I could see a friendship between them just waiting to happen. I know that Chloe was hurt and still probably is, but I honestly hope knowing that Gerard willingly hung out and slept with her and that she wasn't 'just a job' to him or bolted the moment the deed was done will give her enough incentive to allow herself to call him. This chapter was amazing and phenomenally written! I cannot wait to see what happen next!! xxx
