It's been 10 years since I first discovered "Temper," and I can't begin to explain how much this story has meant to me over the years. It's become my go-to comfort read—I've reread it countless times and even transferred it to my Kindle so I can always have it with me.

Jude, you write wonderfully, and I want to thank you for crafting such a captivating story. Here we are in 2024, and "Temper" and "Stay" remains one of my favorite novels. The suspenseful plot, deep characters, and immersive atmosphere make each reading experience unique.

"Temper" continues to resonate with me over time, reminding me of the power of a great narrative.

I fell in love with this story and read it all in a day. But I see you haven't been on in two years. So though I don't hold much hope for an update, if you still check this, just know that there are those who love and miss your writing. We still find joy in it, years later. And hopefully, one day, we can know the ending.

Oh the feels!!! I have missed this story. Amazing update, finally Eden spilled her feelings. I love them together.

He kept his old house? Well I guess she would go there. Loved the update.

So much intensity in these two chapters! These two...I get frustrated even as I understand where both of them are coming from. I wish they could talk it out and fix everything, but it's not that simple. Both of them have so much baggage now. I agree with everyone else that Matt really didn't have any right to be pissed at Eden for sleeping around; on the other hand, I'm sure that had to be the metaphorical punch in the gut to hear that she had been doing that when he hadn't. I was glad Zack let Matt be the one to find her. That did need to happen. And her drunk admissions needed to happen, too. She might be wasted, but that doesn't make it any less true.

Loved it and I can't wait for the next update!

I totally missed this story!! However, I did honestly laugh when Matt decided to punch Zack.

Matt did not deserve to get pissed off at Eden for sleeping around when they weren't even together. I can understand being completely hurt by her sleeping around, but from her perspective, I can understand why she did sleep around. She wanted to replace the one thing that was good in her life that she felt she lost because of a lie. And I don't blame Eden for trying to forget him, but admitting that she couldn't should show Matt that she doesn't want anyone else but him. She's still too hurt by his lie to really take another chance with him.

Looking forward to when they really hash things out, meaning they go to the gym and literally have a boxing match against each other until it turns into hot steamy sex, cause they really need to get back together. And soon..haha.

I have to say I laughed more than I should when Matt knocked Zacky out. And I have to say, I want to punch Matt in the crotch for getting pissed off at Eden sleeping around. I mean, they weren't together! It'd be undestandable if he got jealous and a little hurt, but this? Fucking stupid, man.

I seriously think that she and Matt need to hash things out and that she and Matt belong together and need to get back together!! I know that you're gonna draw it out but still!! Oh my gosh just get together already! You two love each other and just have this anger, they need to go back into the gym together!!

Omg I have missed the hell out of this story....these two chapters were intense and so heartbreaking!! Matt reacting that way to her sleeping around was harsh...I mean he was still married....they both hurt each other and are killing each other. They need to realize that they need each other to heal and be whole together.....I hope she remembers what she told matt in the morning. Poor zacky even though I figured something was going to happen between them. Can't wait for chapter 13!!!!
