Aw, I'm loving this. It's really sweet but not corny or anything so kudos to you. the only thing that confuses me is what happened to Ray - I keep on getting the impression she's dead, but then Brian will speak about her in the present tense, so maybe she's just really I'll or something? Eh, well hopefully I'll find out. Please continue soon!

Poor Matt. He's a broken man but I love the banter between him and Brian. I can't wait for their back story to unfold all the way because I'm dying to know just what happened and where his sister Is etc. Any who great update.

I love the hints of something between them, the banter they share is awesome! There's obviously something between them, I'd love to know how they were before everything happened and what happened to Matt's sister. I need more! Haha.

Aww Matt, don't cry Everything will be okay eventually. I hope. It better be or I'll cry or something. As always, i love the way write. There's just the right amount of everything, detail and speech and banter, oh the banter. I hope you really do go into what they were to each other before all this shit happened, and that if something does happen between them again, that it's slow and cautious and a rediscovery. I want the passion that was obviously there, to eventually come back. They both deserve to be happy again.

Matt, next time, get a cat.

I really like this. I like your writing style, just the right amount if detail and description without going over the top (which is something I need to work on haha). Plot is refreshingly different. It's a subject matter that, unfortunately, is all too real these days. Plenty of people become homeless, often through no fault of their own but there seems to be this huge stigma attached to it. It's sad really. I like that Matt still has his pride, maybe stubborn too but just because he's homeless doesn't make him desperate.

I can't wait to find out what happened to Matt to see him on the streets, the something that's going on between Matt and Brian. I'm excited :D

To the story! Ugh, you, your writing, perfection. I seriously wish I had your eye for grammar and sentence structure, it's so clean and flows so damned well. I really loved how you formed everything up in this, from the deprivation of Matt and the realistic way people tend to treat the homeless. I always feel fucking horrible when I see someone like that, and I feel even worse when I can't give them anything. The whole "never making eye contact" with him thing was heartbreaking, not just because of this story and it's content, but because that's how it is in the real world. People treat the homeless as if they don't exist, as if meeting their gaze, treating them like the human being they are, will some how give life to them or something. I always meet their gaze, it's just common courtesy. You really hit that one so well, I'm impressed with just how close you actually got it. A lot of people glorify it and try to make it less horrible than it is, but you stripped it to the bones and ugh, perfect. Matt's homeless, but he's not helpless and he's not desperate, he's still clinging to the man he once was, if only enough to keep his pride.

I adore Sona, the way she treats Matt and gives him a piece of her mind when he lets his pride stand between him and his health and well being. Being that she's also kind of sassy is great too, she's an awesome character and I hope to see more of her.

To Brian, hello there young fella haha. Love him, of course, and I love how easy it was/is for him to accept Matt back into his life when most would have just ignored him and gotten on with his life. And the fact that clearly something bad happened to them all, that their worlds all fell apart and yet he's still so willing and ready to pick the pieces up, to help Matt out no matter what, wow, you're so amazing. I love your Brian, and your Matt.

I really can't wait to see where you go with this, how you take it where it needs to go and how you work the Bratt into it, in whatever way it needs to be. This will quickly become one of the rare gems in the treasure chest upon this here Bratt ship, and you deserve it.
