This is one of the cutest and most beautfiul stories I've ever read. I love this so much...You wrote this so well and their relationship is so adorable. You can just tell they love each other so much and it's so real and it just makes my heart melt. 
It's touching how Rule talks and thinks about Penny. It really shows how much he loves her. And I love how it shows them dealing with such a difficult thing, something that I'm sure is not always easy for them…but they're still together, despite it. It sounds like true love, and is really moving.
I also like how you also show some of what Penelope's thinking. I also like how it doesn't exactly give away who he's talking about until about the end. All in all, I think it's a very well-written story, that feels totally complete in itself. Wonderful job on it!
