What I really enjoyed about the story was how you called it "the" cup and that it wasn't just a cup. I think you did a nice job of integrating the word I gave you into the story. I thought that you did a nice job when it comes to juxtaposing cowardness and courage together. I thought that was a nice touch. I really did enjoy the overall approach about it being failed courage. I think that this story had a great amount of potential.
I wish that your diction was a little stronger, it needed to pack an overall punch. I think that you needed to weave the theme a little more throughout the story.
