Typical; he doesn't want her but he doesn't want anyone else to have her either. Possessive asshole. If he wanted her, he wouldn't be in a relationship (or even just having sex) with another woman. Can't have it all, James. End your relationship with Shayna, apologize for being a possessive asshole, and earn your purported friend's trust back. Or let her go. You don't get to feel like that anymore, you ended the relationship. You don't get to know her feelings or thoughts, you don't get to feel possessive or jealous. You didn't want her anymore, you can't treat her like you do. It's not fair to her or your girlfriend. Remember Shayna? Your ex does.

You know, you've only referred to your main character by name twice, and the first time was in the third chapter. Is it Sam or Sammy?

Love this story! James needs to decide what he wants! So both of them can move on or get back together! And I seriously hope they get back together! I love the drama great work!

I like that he's still possessive and worrisome. James knows she's a great catch and he's worried she won't be there for him to get whenever he's finally ready again. But if he's still able to be friends after dating for that long then maybe she should consider the possibilities that either he still loves her or he never really loved her at all. Their breakup should make their friendship harder than normal. Update again soon! Love it!
