They were and for peace treaties too or just to rid of the daughter since they are only there to bear children and such. Most of the husbands are twice or even more so older than the girl. I can't imagine. I'm just glad that I don't have to go through that

It's sad how it used to happen and it still does. I always wanted to write a story where the princess sees it as a duty and willingly goes through with it and tries to please her king and I was going to do that for yours but it wouldn't be true to you.

And yes, once again you prove to know me quite well. I would not settle for an arranged marriage and it would take me a long time to eventually have feelings or get along with my husband.

Thanks again. I actually was watching Game of Thrones and another show that was medival and did some research. The whole audience and stripping was done in some kingdoms which I found interesting lol. The people want an heir just as badly or more than the king and queen themselves. I just wanted Thomas to have something different about him and making him mysterious and having all kinds of sides to him really made me love him in this story. I actually wanted them to get along too but when I started to write it the arrange marriage wouldn't have been alright with your personality. You would probably have fought it and hated the man that stole your freedom no matter how incredible he is or good looking. He certainly had to win her affections. I was going to stop but the character Piers really brought more ideas :D which I am grateful for. I know you love that era so that's why I didn't want to ah anything to surprise you

I love the fact that she is independent, strong but stubborn. For a minute, I thought that she was going to flee but I did also love the mystery around him, all the rumours and such.
And good Lord! Wasn't he just having a blast? The fact that people stripped them, surprised me a little But then I got it... they were going to have well.. an audience.
I have to say that overall, I did want them to get along right at the beginning but I can see why it didn't happen.
That Piers guy ughhhh but yes, Thomas was just fantastic.
