Thanks so much! I'm happy to see that people are enjoying this storyline. I generally try to come up with plots that haven't already been beat to death. I have also dealt with domestic violence in the past and I agree that people can change, but the road to trust is rough and you have to really love the other person to stick through it to get back to a good place. Alcohol and stubbornness definitely doesn't mix. Plus, Mia is very strong willed and stands up for herself which unfortunately probably made his reaction even more intense. We'll see if he takes advantage of the fact that she gave him a second chance. Thanks for reading!!

Brian definitely crossed boundaries and love can also be very blind. Hopefully his love for her will give him the ability to keep himself under control. I'm glad you liked the part with his mom. I feel like there is a lot of seriousness and tension in this story and I'm trying to break it up a little bit. Brian is a good guy who just needs to not drink so much. Their relationship is good but if he were to do something like that again I wouldn't feel bad for him obviously. Looking forward to more :)

I knew it. I just love that you wrote a story involving domestic violence, especially since I experienced something similar but not so bad like it did in your story.

Brian being fucked up doesn't excuse what he did. But, a lot of time has passed and it IS possible for people to change for the better. It's a hard road to get yourself to trust someone that way again after being hit. Brian has to keep working his ass off and keep proving himself!

I love the little details of how Brian and Mia are progressing in their relationship. You can tell they love each other.

Now I know what Brian did... alcohol plus some one stubborn doesn't usually end well... too stubborn to see what they are doing in the moment -- and no matter how fucked up he was it still isn't an excuse.

and another part that made my stomach fill up with butterflies was when brian and mia were in brian's bed and they started losing themselves a little.. and the details I don't know.. Just too many feelings ahaha loved it

Finally read chapters 2 and 3! I was curious to know what exactly Brian did to make Mia leave him, now I know. I can't wait to keep reading more and see if Mia will be able to really trist him.

Annie is quite reluctant about Brian.. we'll find out why over the next couple of chapters. Their friends are definitely watching out for them, but there is more to the story than most people know. There was definitely a spark between Mia and Brian at the restaurant and there will be plenty more sparks flying over the next couple chapters as well. Thanks so much!! You're so sweet!!

Uhh Annie is still a little reluctant about Brian. Well she's just trying to have Mia's back if something goes wrong, just like Zacky is with Brian. But I get that Mia wanted to have the support of her sister. Anywaaaay!
