I like how Alan is sorta curious about all this, and I like it even more that no one will inform him of what's really going on. And of course all the mysterious men are making me confused like "Who all are they damnit I want to know"

Okay, okay. I was excited to read this and now it's here, just yes.

I love this so far. Alan is all innocent and curious, it's just so fantastic. And the ending of the chapter, ugh you left me hanging. But I love it when the person (*cough*Austin*cough*) is all mysterious.
