You've got a way with words. You choose words well and there's really nothing more I can say about that except that I liked it.
I wasn't a fan of the long paragraphs, but that's just because I personally don't like reading long monologues. Maybe breaking it up a bit would be better?
Also, if this was meant to make me think, it definitely accomplished that goal.
