Ok so comment #2
- This reminds me a little of Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. I love, love, love the idea of a human subject under experimentation, and I'm totally curious as to what the experiments are. Excuse me please if I missed it, I'm a fast reader
I like how the point-of-view changes, from the girl to Dr. Hanes, and the imagery of the fire, its heat, its ravaging hunger, it's all beautiful. The fire scene was vaguely BS:I with the arm-raising and the all-consuming fire.
Don't worry, you didn't miss it! I'm trying so hard to make everything flow at a good pace and NOT spoil it by revealing too quickly, which is a bad habit of mine.
I'm glad you like the P.O.V. changes! :D I was worried that choosing to do that would lose people, but I felt it would work best. Is it bad that a lot of the feels/descriptions were ones I perceived when watching the changes that happen to Booker after he consumes vigors?
