I agree with the person below me. You write Mike so terrifically. That being said, he is a very easy person to write, but all the same, sometimes it's hard to catch the hyper-realistic moments of even the most forward characters. Well done!

I will say, though...They've been best friends for 30 years, not almost 20

Anywho, I love the direction you've taken this. you haven't strayed in the story in order to cause drama, you've simply stuck to the story and proved that no one needs to be kidnapped/killed/hurt/etc to have a good story. Keep up your writing. You've progressed so much even within these chapters. I can't wait to see more from you!

Billie told Mike, the way he reacted was very realistic, especially for him. He was calm and quiet about it, hopefully everything works out for them, update soon. :)
