If Only Until Morning - Comments

Man okay so to be honest I COMPLETELY forgot that I had a Mibba account -- but Pictures on Silence and If Only Until Morning made such an impact on me that present day, freaking 10+ yrs after I originally read it, I was like... I want to find this story again. Where a lot of fanfics had generic leads and fit a lot of stereotypes, yours didn't. You have such a unique writing style, and I love how strong of a character you made Angie. I just went back through and read both stories again and it was all the best kinds of nostalgia.

I really wanted to reach out and say a few things.

1. Thank you for writing both of these stories. They're really well fleshed out and you feel like you're in them. I appreciate all the effort you took to write hundreds of pages worth of these stories!

2. Could really empathize with Angie's feelings of loneliness that laced through the narrative, especially since I've also struggled with depression in the past and had that wrestling of like "no, I just want to fix it myself, I don't need help" and yeah it was just really real. I think sometimes, it can be easy to write off emotions and invalidate them internally, but I appreciated the intentional moments when you had Angie realize she needed to confront situations and mentalities, that she couldn't keep running away. For this girl with repressive tendencies, those were very important moments.

3. Appreciated all the Palahniuk and assorted literary references. That actually really encouraged me to get back into reading more (and consequently creative writing as well!)

4. This is just a cute damn story. It has its ups and downs (drama vs. chill, not like well written vs. poorly written), there's weight to it, but at the end of the day it just really makes me smile and appreciate the old Panic fandom days. I don't know, man. I used to read and write a good bit of fanfiction back in the Quizilla days but this one was always my favorite, and it holds up even now when I'm in my late 20's and married and all that good stuff.

5. Last, and most importantly, I hope that you're still writing in some shape or form. You're very gifted. If you are, I'd love to read it!

Very nearly a perfect finish. Actually, let me expand on that. It was close to perfect from the start up until the very end. Haha, and I must say, the epilogue was a nice touch.
