Well, it's safe to say that I'm one big, sobbing mess of emotions after reading that chapter! Brilliantly done, by the way! Gah, this story is making me incredibly broody, I'm gonna have to jump my boyfriend and start practising later, hahaha.

Her name is perfect, I couldn't think of a better name for her. And Brian, god bless him. I can just tell he's going to freak OUT when Michelle goes into labour! I thought Matt handled everything extremely well. Kudos to him! I'm incredibly proud of them both!

She did it, god she held out good! 23 long, exhausting hours which would have seemed longer because she was trying to push out a watermelon. God, Matt must have been so proud of her right then. You wrote the birth beautifully, and more so, realistically.

“Oh my God!” Matt said, his voice high-pitched and weird. “He’s here, McKenna. Oh my God, it’s our son.” Matt, you've gone and made me cry! Oh god. I can just imagine the look on his face right about now. Emry James? That's such a unique name, but so very fitting! James after Jimmy. Now I'm bawling like a kid. Gosh. It suits so much.

I knew that it was going to be a girl and I loved the update!! I can't wait to read more and I love the name Emry and it makes me all giddy becuase my sister is going to have another and I wont be here for it!! So this kind of makes up for it!! I knew it was going to be a girl, I mean how could mother nature not throw them a curve ball? I love the way you wrote about her after birth. How in love they are with her and steal her to themselves for as long as they possibly can before the rest of the fam comes in. So so in love.

Ahhhhh, I'm loving these chapters but your killing me with the cliff hangers. I'm dying to know if she did intact have a boy or if Brian Sr. and Grandma Haner were right that its a girl.

Thank god for Zacky and his advise to calm Matt down, you can really tell that he said just to be a good friend to Matt which is what he needed.

Loved the part with Sr. and Mac with him telling her the story about her birth again. I love when families do that, I know my own tell me all the time.

Once again can't wait to read the next one and find out what they have and name it.

Poor Matt, he may look calm & collected on the outside but on the inside he is freaking out. Since he is stressed out & would do anything for McKenna he is gonna cry like a baby when the baby is born.

I'm just gonna go with my gut telling me that it's hopefully gonna be a girl. I just hope that it is & I love how u are writing this to make it look an sound real like an actual birth. I have read stories on here about how they are all rushed and haven't actually take the time to make it real. Props to u!

Poor girl, sixteen hours of labour sounds horrible! And they're still not out of the woods yet. I'm really happy that you paced this out, that it wasn't all over within a few hours. I know some women have easy births, but a lot don't. My mum said she was in labour for 28 hours with me, I guess I was comfy where I was haha.
