So far I am liking this story because it present a plot that not a lot of people write about. I like the friendship Rae has with all of the guys, specially with Brian. It shows how affectionate they are towards her. I like her. She seems like a likable person. She seems fun and caring towards all of them. I like how they can easily joke around as if she was one of them which is great.

The first chapter came out like a strong start and it was great. I loved how you began the story with Rae and Brian having an intimate moment. It shows a little of what to expect from the both of them. You have a great writing style and it was shown throughout the detailed words you used to describe everyone and everything. It makes the read visualize what is happening.

It's a great story and can't wait to see where it goes. Great job!

I found the link for this story on the Avenged Fanclub page and holy cow, I am addicted already. The way you have portrayed these characters and their relationships/friendships is just perfect. And I can totally identify with Rae, I worked my butt off to put myself through nursing school without any scholarships or outside help. Creating a character that is so easy to identify with in just 2 chapters is impressive, and your writing is fantastic. I am so looking forward to reading more!

Zacky and Kerrie seem very cute. Beginnings of a relationship are always adorable. Haha.

It's nice to see that Rae is the kind of girl who wants to work and earn things in life, rather than having them handed to her, even if it's just a gesture of appreciation from friends. It's cute how they got her a car, that's a good present, very practical and helpful. I also like that Brian and the others respect her choice to work her way through school, too. It shows they have genuine and strong friendship, which is great.

I honestly don't know what direction this is going in. I suppose if I was forced to guess, I'd assume that Rae and Brian would eventually develop and/or admit deeper feelings for each other, but since you said it's not gonna go in the way most readers would assume, then I doubt that's true. But I do look forward to see how this is gonna play out

I really like this, so far. You have a very simplistic writing style, it's very easy to read. A good balance of description and detail. I'm hoping that they actually don't fall in love, so many stories I read these days make the two characters develop deeper feelings and get hurt. It would be nice to read a story where yes, they are friends, but that's it, they just happen to bump hips sometimes, haha. Sorry, I'm rambling

I love the last line, like Danni mentioned, a great play on words! I think I'm going to like these "play dates"
