Well, thank you! :) If you knew my writing you'd realise that an ending like this is sort of cliche for me. I'm on another board for Placebo fan fiction and everyone there knows me as ending all my stories with a particular mood XD

Honestly, you're one of my favourite people ever right now because I haven't read a good Green Day fanfiction for a few months now and then this comes along. Mike being all sensitive though, aww. He always struck me as the sensitive one and I'm glad he's there for Billie even after the crazy lady (because let's face it, you have to be crazy to dump that fine specimen of mankind) didn't seem to want to know. It's a shame and a sad state of affairs, but I like that you've written it in the way that you do because I really get a sense of how Billie is feeling. I like the way this ends; no miracle get-together, just two blokes away getting drunk. It's different to most other stories and I'm so glad you didn't go for the clichéd ending, because this works so well.
