I’m so happy you have decided to write this sequel. I’m loving getting the chance to see Sid being a daddy.

I hope Sid allows himself to feel whatever it is he feels. Trying to be strong for Lizzy by ignoring his own feelings isn’t going to be good for either of them. Kids are incredibly resilient, but Lizzy needs to see that he is sad, that he misses Cat (just as she does) and that that is okay. She needs to see that it’s okay to be sad, angry, etc.

That being said, there is no wrong way to grieve. Everybody deals with lose in their own way. I just hope Sid doesn’t think he needs to be something other than what he is to help Lizzy.

I really like this story, I don't agree that he's moving too fast at all, I mean he appreciated her appearance but thats not to say he likes her or wants anything to happen, he still loves Cat and is focusing on his little girl. I like where this story is going and can't wait for me! :)

I agree that he seemed to get over it fast and didn't really cry it anything. But I still love it!!!

I have to admit, I'm having a hard time feeling a connection to Mac. I agree with the other comments that she seems aggressive. I hope that will change soon. I really like your writing, and I would hate to lose an interest in this story.

You took a big risk killing Cat off. And i have a difficult time with this story. Mostly because i dont feel Sids pain. He should be crying, screaming, aching etc, but i just dont feel it. It seems like he is already almost over it. Its hard for me as a reader to relate to Mac. And the prospect of her being Sids love interest. Because not many chapters ago, it was Cat. Sorry for the harsh words, i really do think that you are a talented writer, its just hard when to beloved characters dont get their happy ending.

This chapter actually made me sob. When she spelled "mommy" the tears began. I like it, maybe when more chapters come out I'll begin to accept it and fall in love with it.

First impression of Mac is that she's quite aggressive...not sure if in a good way or not. Hopefully it wont all be about how she used to play hockey.

I was shocked that you chose to kill cat at the end of chasing cat, but I'm excited to see what you have planned for this story, I was very saddened with how it all ended but not everyone gets their happily ever after no matter who they are, but I do hope Sid and Lizzy can find happiness again in this story. Chasing Cat was one of my favorite stories, but i hope this story is even better!

Chasing Cat was one of my favorite stories and then the ending just ruined it...
And you're not a bad writer, The opposite actually but I just wish you would have ended it in a different way.

I concur. Don't think I can read this story because of how badly the last one ended. Hopefully you can fix that story and can reboot the idea for this one. Good luck.
