Take Me Home Tonight - Comments

  • What a perfect ending! I may have cried reading the part where John proposes to Meghan because they have got to be one of my favorite couples you've written about right next to James and Harper. I'm just so happy James and Harper got their happy ending even with the trade.

I will definitely miss your stories. You deserve a break! I hope you have a great hockey season and hope to see your works again soon! Smile

  • I love that you tied everything up so neatly- even Meghan and John! This story even redeemed James a little bit in my mind :) Words can't express how amazing a writer you are!
I'm going to miss your writing while you're on hiatus. I'll have to start bringing real books to work for my downtime. Enjoy your break...and the hockey season!

  • So perfect. I'm crying. Thank you so much for such an entertaining story. All your stories. You bring your characters to life. I feel as if I know them, I get so involved. You made me so happy that Harper met Meghan! Enjoy your time off and I'll welcome any story whenever you get back to writing! Thanks, thanks again! ❤️❤️❤️

  • Wow, I can't believe it's over already. It feels like I've only been reading this story for a short amount of time but looking back, its been 5 whole months already. It sure didn't feel that long. Guess that's how a good story catches up with you. I really hope to read more stories written from you some time in the future; they really have a way of bringing me to another dimension lol. Thanks for the great read<3

  • You certainly don't leave any loose ends, do you?

Harper left Sid a little wistful and melancholy on New Year's Eve, thinking what could have been - what might have been - but what definitely would NOT be now.

I am so glad that John and Meghan came for dinner - and James was really ok with their relationship. So ok that he actually facilitated their engagement. I really don't think he ever truly loved Meghan - I don't think he really knew what love was. But he does now!

Harper and Meghan both felt relieved - Harper because she could see that Meghan was never her rival and Meghan knew that James was truly going to be ok. That he was going to be the better man she knew he could be - because she could see that Harper would demand it. So now she had a new friend to summer with!

And Nashville. Was there ever any doubt that Harper would be there by his side? I mean really - he needs someone to decorate the new house!

Well done! You really rehabilitated James in this one.

And while I can really understand your need to take time off from writing, whenever you are ready, I cant wait to see who your next subject will be!

  • Ahhh I'm sad to see this one end... I know I mostly a silent reader but just know I love everything you write and have read some stories multiple times. I'm sad that your going to be taking a break but I understand at the same time. Just know that your writing will be missed on here while your away.

  • I have been waiting for Neal to find happiness back when I was reading Harder Than Stone and I'm just so happy for him and the character development that he went through. It was really beautiful and I can't wait for the next update!

  • That was perfect.

  • As I re-read this (there, I admit it!), I noticed a cool parallel to the Christmas Carol, like on Christmas Day, after Scrooge's transformation, and he's talking about the night before -- here's the doorknob where Marley's head was, here's where this spirit did this or that. Kind of like when they went back to Harper's and James was looking at the front steps, etc. maybe I'm just weird (well, for sure!), but it's cool whether it's intentional or not! Typing on my phone, sorry for any mistakes...

  • “I can’t believe you made me jealous of James Neal.”

Definitely my favorite line! Ahhh! Can't believe they're finally together like they're supposed to be from the moment they met each other.

  • James on that sofa? My brain is forever blown, Jules.
And these, the most perfect sentences of all:

    - If he remembered, then no matter what happened Harper could never be taken away.

    - Sid shook his head. “I can’t believe you made me jealous of James Neal.

    AMAZZZZINGGGGGGGGGG
