Agh new reader here! Just read the sequel. so either the dates are mixed up or she is actually not missing. I'm confused? Or maybe She gets kidnapped in the hospital...ahhh ! I hope they just send her home early with an injury, not permanent damage just something to go home for Andd stay away from deployment. Maybe the hospital is a dream

I love this, and I'm so glad that veronica is okay. I love, as sad and emotional as it was, the whole conversation between Matt and Brian. I can t wait for more!

Brian kicked some ass!!!. Loved his speech he told Matt. Really she's missing, or are they just saying that because they don't want her family to find out she got hurt? Or is she really missing and she doesn't realize it? Poor Matt he's suffering. But anyways nice chapters.

I missed two chapters when I went to work! Two damn chapters! And now... Where do I ever start?

CHAPTER TWO:
Um, what the hell? Either they've got her name wrong and informed the wrong family that their daughter is missing (seriously, there aren't that many girls in the military, so how likely is this?) or she's actually a P.O.W. and doesn't even know it!

Wondering how long it's going to be before she realises that they're not going to let her call anybody. <_<

CHAPTER THREE:
I love Brian. I just think he was perfect in this chapter. XD I also think that Matt's mood is genuine and very nicely written. Fully believable and heart-breaking. I wanted to curl up and die there with him.

Especially when Jimmy was brought up. T_T Way to make me feel.

OMFG you two, I'm sorry, I've been so busy and my Easter was Hell and I'm finally just getting on here. I loved this! All three chapters. It's just insane. Again, ADDICTED. I can not wait for more.

Just imagining such a manly man like Matt break down and crumble into many pieces was so hard to read.
I mean he is such a handsome fucker...and imagining him like that is just...so upsetting.
It makes me want to hug that big lovable bear :'C
I kept imagining I was right there holding on to him while he cried T_T
I rather imagine that than read about him drinking...and thinking about the worst of his own thoughts...

Damn...
I really hope things lighten up for him and everyone else...

I swear, you guys are trying to kill me with praise, and I'm loving it. Thank you so, so, so, so to the 38th power much! This means so much to me! <3 I was super excited to get a chance to write from Matt's POV for this story, because while we got to know Veronica and her struggles a ton in the first story, I wanted Matt's voice/emotions to be heard as well, even if it does break hearts (mine included!) and possibly minds.

This is amazing. And beautiful point SHADOWS, what if she isn't where she thinks she is, otherewise, why would matt think she was missing?

What if the doctor is wrong about her legs?
What if Veronica doesn't bounce back?
Something just feels weird to me about this hospital, the nurse, the doctor. Hell everything
What if Veronica isn't in an American hospital but instead being held somewhere else?
