That's a great question, and there isn't really an answer to it at this point in the story. I mean, there's no story behind the house in terms of that he's not living in some terrifying haunted house or anything, but he hates it anyway. He's never lived on his own before so that can be pretty scary in itself. Maybe Rose is right and he just needs to get used to it? Sorry that this is a vague answer to your question, but I'd rather let everything unfold so that you can decide for yourself why you think he hates his house. Thanks for being an awesome reader!

Goodness this is so great. The confrontation between Oliver and Fox was written perfectly; I find it's not often that confrontations are written well and are actually relevant to the story, but this completely was. I hope Oliver soon starts to open up to Harry; as much as I love seeing a relationship develop over time, I'm also really impatient. Perfect update!

I stumbled across this the other day and I absolutely love it. I love the character of Oliver Rose; it's so difficult to find good, well-written and captivating fiction in this site sometimes, but I'm so glad that I found this one. I'm so glad that this is prewritten. I don't think I could handle the wait if you were writing it as you went! :)
