@ safe bet. It's a fanfiction about The Sevenwaters Series, which I highly recommend because they are amazing. The first book is called Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier. :D Thank you so much! It's hard not to get some condescension in there because of the setting of the story. It's in a period that was very sexist so having a woman give any kind of counsel was usually unheard of. I'm glad you liked it! :D :D :D
Wow; this is a really interesting story so far! I can't wait to read more. Fallon seems like such a cool protagonist - working hard for what she has and not taking crap from anyone. My kind of girl . But anyway, I really like your style in this piece. Although it's in first person, you get a very good sense of all the characters introduced so far as well as the excellent scenery you've created. There is a very decent, respectful air to the family and their interactions which I also appreciate greatly. While there is some condescension, it is due truly just to protectiveness, which is an admirable trait and one you describe very accurately in your characters - who you develop incredibly for only one chapter so far. That's very admirable. The whole story you've created so far is...and I'm not generally one who gets into stories about fandoms I'm not a part of. This should be interesting. Great work!
