First of all, the layout is lovely. It's so light and simple and warm. I adore it. As they say, less is more. No need for obnoxious gifs and neon colors. It kinda makes me think of spring.

As for the story, this is absolutely beautiful. I don't even know where to begin. I love how you start with the beginning of the relationship, how you were before. And how, at the end, you tell what you have become. How worn out the person in this story (is it you?) has become. So worn that there is nothing left and that they feel empty. You really capture the essence of heartbreak and how it really takes away the light and the energy that you might have, like somebody taking all the petals of a flower away.

"Love is about appreciation and not possession."

That is beautiful. I just adore how true that is. We do not own the people that we love. We can only love them and let them know that. People are not objects for the taking. I love that you address that. So many people take advantage of that. When somebody walks away, there is nothing that you can really do but watch them go. Because you have no claim over them.

This story actually makes me think of the song You Picked Me by A Fine Frenzy. In a good way, of course. I have always thought that song is lovely. And this story is magnificent. I adore it so much. Great job, doll.
