YES! First of all, welcome back! And second, HOLY SHIT I LITERALLY LOST MY SHIT WHEN BRASSY DROPPED THAT BOMB! Okay, I'm so damn glad Step got into this because I love that man. And honestly, if anyone can make Christa feel better, it is definitely going to be Step, because man, this guy is the epitome of adorkable. He can put a smile on basically anyone's face. I also love how you included the JMoore POV in there because it is nice to have someone outside of Brassy and Christa witness/describe what is going on. So that's awesome!

And it's nice how the team is so concerned over her even though some have never even met her. It shows that these guys are like one giant family, unconditionally. Also seeing people care about Christa makes me happy!

Please update soon! I can't wait to see what shenanigans Christa and Step will get into!

Welcome back! And holy crap...what a bomb Derick just dropped!!

I'm a Brass fan. He is just adorable. 2 1/2 weeks seems kind of fast for him to ask her out though. But she seems to return the feelings somewhat so maybe it's ok. So I would love an update.

Okay read all 3 chapters now I can comment: Losing someone is hard, and I can sympathize with the fact that she's trying to get her life together and turning towards everything that is familiar. I love the fact that she's actually privy (or she thinks that she is) to how he's feeling about her so the ball is in his court in this one. She's not just some damaged female character beginning for a new boyfriend. I can't wait to see how this one ends up, I'm loving it already. You've written the characters so playfully but still use very nice description. Can't wait for more <3

Loving this! I've had a not so secret crush on Brass since his early days in Columbus and I love seeing him get some attention on here :) I hope Christa gives him a chance and doesn't just blow him off

Oh my god, John is so freaking confusing! He's very un-subtly flirting with Christa and then he's all like "yo Brassy's thirsty for ya!" Like damn son, make up your mind! Either you grab her face and kiss her or you just hand her over to Brassy, damn! But I still think the John/Christa interactions are adorable. And freaking ship worthy! When he pulled her against his chest, damn!!!! And I love their interactions and how Christa is starting to find herself again! It's nice to see her slowly heal, or slowly change and pull herself out of the slump.

Also, I appreciate the awareness Christa has. She just points out Brassy's possible romantic interest towards her, rather than be completely oblivious to his obvious advances.

Oh, I have a quick question, there were a few mentions of Chris and at first I thought it was Krieder, but then it's only Christa, Brassy, John, Hags, and Mats right??

Yo, I miss this story so much! And damn that intense eye contact between John and Christa!!!! Yes, I know Brassy's smitten, but damn that moment of chemistry between those two, had me! And grrr, Christa, poor Christa! It makes me sad that she thinks so lowly of herself.
