WHYY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME ! ;n; Sorry about that xD this was heartbreaking. I'm gonna need to read one of your smexy oneshots to feel better again xD AH. SO good. So different and beautiful. *faints*
it's not tears I have in my eyes. It's just... Yeah, ok, it's tears... I loved the way you wrote it, as I usually do when it comes to your stories. It was very emotional, my heart broke for Brian...
Oh Jesus. I think my heart just broke a bit. Like straight cracked in two. Thanks for the tearjerking, gut hurting, snot slinging fest. It was beautiful.
WHHYYYYYY do bad things happen to good people!? When Matt didn't show up, I was all "WHy would you play with Brian's emotions?!" And then... I seriously had to speed read through the ending before I got all emotional. FANTASTIC (and tearful) one-shot!
That being said, despite how sad it was it was also very beautiful and well written. I've never attempted to write any Bratt because I don't think I would be very great at it, but you my friend are amazing!
I agree with vampire_sun. Brian's emotion and reaction was very well done! Broken hearted but still not letting his strength falter.
I think you owe us chocolates along with the tissues, woman.
Ya know, at the beginning when Brian had been waiting and Matt hadn't shown, I was ready to kick his ass. But then you had to go and do what you do best, and now I'm sitting here trying to hold it together because my nieces band concert starts shortly and I really don't feel like explaining red, puffy eyes to people all night. I mean this in the best way possible, but you do heart-wrenching so well, and even though I should expect it by now, you manage to get me every time. I think I'm gonna make a new rule for myself, though - no reading Rach's stories unless alone at night.
Back to the story, I thought Brian's emotion/reaction was so well done. You balanced the sadness with him also trying to be strong so beautifully( if that makes sense). The way he was able to grieve yet still pull himself together enough to make it back home and slip silently back in, as if he'd never been gone.
Congratulations on moving forward in the contest and good luck with this one!
