Uckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckf what omfg uppoddaattteeeee tthhiisssss!! Seriously?! THIS had to be the latest chapter?!?!?! I just it all the way through and now I wait for the fuckin asdfghjk chapter unf frerard ahh
I really enjoyed seeing a different side to Gerard. Working in the FBI is a high stress job, with little thanks, and it must take a toll on a person and how they react to the world around them. Gerard may be a little snarky at times but, I kinda think it'd be impossible for him not to be, in his position. To see him ease up, and be himself, was nothing short of awesome. He's such a funny drunk, as well as weirdly observant. I'm torn between wanting him to remember every detail of what he did for the comedy value, and him not remembering because of the cringe factor. We've all been there, when we remember the embarrassing shit we did the night before, and it's not pleasant. I also really want him to get a case of the fear - I feel like Gerard is the kind who would get a major case of the fear the next day.
I can't wait to see Frank lord it over his head in the next chapter - I have a feeling it's going to make for some serious funny stuff!
I LOVED this chapter so much. I love this story. The way Gerard and Frank grate off each other in a way that's just a total cover for UST is just so wonderfully done. Both of them are such hypocrites and yet they totally don't see it. All they can see is the shit that bothers them in the other person and ignore how they're so similar, and I really hope that Brendon points that out.
Gerard's awkwardness is this chapter was oddly endearing, and totally fits the character. He's like a teenage boy who never got over his fear of girls and their cooties (or in this case, boobies). The way Frank walks off to get into the back at the end was just asking for trouble, and for once I kinda don't blame Gerard if he punches him for it later. I understand Frank's need to make his mark, but still...he doesn't help himself when his need to push authority makes him seem like a loose cannon.
I really hope this is updated soon, because this is hands down, one of my fave Gerard-Frank combo ever. The way they hate and lust after each other (even if they don't admit it) is just awesome.!
