So I just read this first update and the prequel... ugh, I'm so sad it was never continued! What does Alex think of his daughter? Will him and Alyssa ever get back together? I found the ending to the prequel tragic because I was hoping they would end up back together but they didn't. Wah. :( But at the same time I can understand Alyssa wanting to move on... but ugh. I really hope you choose to continue this. I wanted to leave a comment letting you know that I stumbled across this and enjoyed it, or more so the prequel since there's not much to this installment. But yeah. I'll be here to read and leave feedback if you ever choose to continue. I mean I really hope you do because I really like this story. It's been a struggle getting through more than one chapter of AWG fan fics I've been finding, so yeah, this one definitely made it past that. :) You're an amazing writer, and even if you don't continue with this, I really hope you at least still write on your own time.
