I haven't read the prequel but this is a good story. I too had worked at Subway and am enjoying reminiscing in the memories as I read. I was surprised when I was hired to like really? You want me? So that was very easy to relate to.
Oh the dreaded screw ups haha. I screwed up so many times but I never dropped anything. I did ram my face into the corner of a breadpan and give myself a black eye once in front of two regulars. Needless to say, they never let me live it down. I am in love with this already. Its so realistic in his experiences and I love it!
