I remember the first time I saw the music video for The Ghost of You and you have added even more sorrow and tragedy to this tale than the music video initially had, and I cried at that music video! Really well written and you developed the characters brilliantly through the story:) You've captured the essence of war perfectly.

I'm speechless, which is really hard for me. This piece made me cry, made me feel nostalgic, and just overall made me feel. I am so in love with this. The layout is beautiful, your writing is beautiful, and there is so much about this that is absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for entering my contest! This was a pleasure to read.

This story is amazing, and the description is great. The piece is powerful and full of emotions that are easily felt through the way you write, which by the way is awesome... it flows great and it's gripping to read. Good Job!

You're seriously determined to try and make me cry, aren't you?

This is an absolutely amazing piece of writing; so powerful!

I'm looking forward to reading the next two parts, and I just know that by the end of it, I shall be a sobbing mess on the floor.

    Great job, Vikki!

Well first of all, I didn't know that 1) Mikey Way was in My Chemical Romance 2) you were a My Chemical Romance fan.

I will admit that I love that this is an AU. I'm thinking it's based on one of their music videos, which only makes it a semi-au in a way? XD

I've said it before and I'll say it again, your writing style is absolutely amazing. I love the way that you are able to decorate the story without going completely overboard so that's it both beautiful and readable at the same time. You have such a good balance of using description and having things actually happen, and you always sneak the pretty stuff into the action instead of having long paragraphs of description for no reason at all.

I really like Mikey's state of mind in this. You can tell he really feels the weight of what is happening to him, and sort of get this vibe that he's only just starting to accept it, which makes the trip to the bar even more interesting. You can tell by the brashness of his words that his mind is a little hazed with worry, which I love because it feels so real.

You did an incredible job of showing the emotions and realness of war. There are always going to be those people like Gerard that are trying to make everything seem better, even though they know how bleak everything is themselves.

This one shot was absolutely amazing! As usual, I didn't really catch any errors, but I was pretty much so immersed in the story that I'm not sure I would have noticed if there were any. This was another incredibly emotional and deep piece, and I love that your writing has a message to it and isn't a story just for the sake of story. Amazing job!
