I'm glad! I honestly don't even notice it either. But I think it becomes more obvious in later chapters when I'm trying to bump them forward in time a bit. There are also a few of those instances where I think I could get a good chapter out of what I wrote and just didn't do it the first time around. So I might do that when I do another read through.

I'm still planning on having it end when she's in her thirties. I have been changing a few things just to make the story more realistic/cohesive. But it won't change the overall timeline of Ruby's life. Just explains things a little better and doesn't put all the blame for Ruby's shit on one person. Hahaha. But yeah, so far I'm still planning on having it last until she's 32. It's a long story but I enjoy working on it. So I have no complaints.

Also, the story is part of a series. Billie and Felix both have versions of this one. And there's one for Claire, and Rick and Crystal too. And also Ruby's children in the future :X Which is why it needs to end where it does.

honestly the lack of environmental description doesn’t bother me at all; i know when it’s there but i don’t miss it when it’s not if that makes sense. Is your plan to still take us throughout Ruby’s years and end it when she’s older or are you changing that idea and ending it sooner, or do you even know yet lol

The original version of the story was early 2000's but when I decided to continue the curse into the next generation, I bumped back the time period. But that was waaaaaaaaaay back.

I'm glad you like it! I'm happy to be able to get back to the story. These characters have always held a special place in my heart.

i think when i asked you a while ago you said it was early 2000’s, but when does this take place again? The very end of ch69 made me bust out laughing with the dialog about Billie and Ruby being in shock. i am LOVING these fast and frequent updates!

Yeah it sucks! But they made it easier to get diamonds now. I usually only read like 2 chapters a day anyway. Because otherwise I'd just blow through them. :X
