While I get that Sid was pissed that he thought that Dulci was considering leaving Pittsburgh, it begs the question - just when do you "include" someone in your "life decisions"?
Up until the accident, Dulci and Sid were "dating" - and although they were exclusive, there was no further commitment. Hell, Dulci actually thought that Sid was going to break up with her when he confessed his love to her!
These two need to learn to communicate better - and quit eaves dropping on conversations!
Glad you ended that chapter with him waiting to hear her side of the story. Last thing they need is him jumping to conclusions and messing shit up haha
She may not have had her passport....but I hope she had travel insurance!
With all the "interruptions" - plane rides, traffic, Taylor - these two couldn't catch a break - oh wait, Dulci did!! Too bad that broken arm is doing to put a damper on the much anticipated romp Sid and Dulci had planned for his Nova Scotia house.
But poor Dulci - your first "I love you" should not be yelled as you are being wheeled into the OR.
Yup, I was pretty sure that Dulci would see more than she bargained for at the Conference. The writing was definitely on the wall here - the reason that Megan, despite poorer job performance was receiving favourable treatment. Of course she was sleeping with Dr. Harrison! It will be interesting to see what Dulci does with this interesting tidbit of information.
But Sid and Dulci.......Wow! No, just WOW!! Sounds like they are both finding their comfort zone on how far they are willing to push things. Their relationship has certainly moved to another level - they have developed a deep trust and are feeling comfortable enough to express their true feelings. Topping it all off, Sid wants to take her home to meet his family.
Well, you got me on that one. I started reading and thought I must have missed a chapter - weren't they in New York? Why were they at the Fleury's? And who the heck is Tucker???? Then I clued in that someone was dreaming!
I did love their date - things really seem to be going along really well. And I am really trying to like Carly - but something about her just rubs me the wrong way. Even when she is doing something nice for Dulci, I keep wondering what is Carly up to. I must be projecting!!
But things just got real at the hotel. Will Sid be able to go through with it? Who knows, he may actually have latent Dom tendencies....he really does love to be in control. I guess we will see.
I have often thought the same as Savannah that for someone who has not been afraid to go "outside the box" in some aspects of her life, Dulcie does seem timid and quite "mainstream" in other aspects.
But I love Sid's surprise for Dulcie - and the fact that he was waiting there for her made it all the better.
It will be interesting to see Drs Harrison and King's reaction to Dulcie being at the conference. And maybe Dulcie will get to see more than she bargained for.
