Wow, I loved this so much. It definitely did not go where I thought it was going to go. At first, I thought it was going to be kind of like… teetering between past and present. I thought the bits with Maximus were him being interrogated or something, like someone was telling him what Melody was saying/had accused him of and that was his responses to it. Then I realized where this was actually going and A WEATHER GOD, DID NOT SEE YOU COMING. I actually loved it a lot.
And although you didn’t provide a lot of descriptions or details, I still got the whole picture and all the emotions. I could tell that Melody was scared and helpless, Cassidy was probably about to call a psych ward, and Maximus was offended. I even saw the whole scene in the police station, but you didn’t even give me much, or really any, detail on that. That was really great. You used your words very carefully, so fantastic job! Great drabble.
