It is still happening. Sadly inspiration hasn't been present and I've been bogged down with work. Hopefully I can pick this back up soon. One of the co-writes I've been working on is wrapping up this week so hopefully I can start working on this again. Thank you for still caring about this story ♡♡♡

halvo could just explain the situation to chaney. i mean, jeez... he is REALLY going to fuck up EJ. like, he really doesn't need to do any of this. especially the whole jumping into a marriage with chaney without getting reacquainted thing

Ugh. Stephanie. Really? Looks like I still don't like her. How dare she put the blame on Chaney. 1. they used to be friends. 2. it's her damn fault that chalvo broke up.
Her kid is fucking cute though, poor thing is breaking my heart. You said Halbo, and I immediately though of Grace and now I miss LWUT.

Buuuut, when Steph told Eric to go play with his toys, I snorted cause I was convinced Halv was gonna make a sassy remark about not wanting to go.

But boo you. We don't need another party pooper. John's doing that already. I have no doubt that Steph will somehow try and sabotage Chalvo. And I'm resenting that day... Idk if Chaney will be very pleased. Although I'm convinced she'll fall in love with little Eric

Wondering if steph loves Halvo and maybe they'll end up together that way John and Chaney could have a chance? Haha. Either way, Halvo with EJ is adorable. He obviously treated him like his own.

So I only just got a chance to start reading this and OH MY GOD it's gonna be even better than the first story I can already tell

Kennedy and Melody are so cute...they need to get together (and they should totally have their own spin-off story).

John is so pissy about Chaney and Halvo's relationship...maybe because he's jealous? Also, Chaney needs to stop running away from her problems (for once) and face them head-on. Hasn't she learned yet that running just makes things worse?

Everything is so cute and happy right now, but I have this terrible feeling that John and Chaney's secret escapade is going to come out and everything is going to go to shit. Nooooooooooooooooo :(

I already have anxiety about this! Just when I like Halvo again, I get a bad feeling all over again. Basically...I'm just preparing for the heartbreak already and I don't even know if there will be one. Better to be safe than sorry!

All the kissing is making me so so giddy. I was actually afraid that Kelly was gonna give Chaney a talking to over brunch (as per a request mad by John) but luckily for me you are a wonderful person and you've introduced the party idea! I love how you're setting up this story and I know, I know it's going to be a rough ROUGH ROUGH journey but I am (not) ready for all this... my heart is already feeling heavy.
But man how things have changed and I'm all for Chaney and Halvo... didn't think that would happen... but I'm just like so worried for everyone right now. THE ANXIETY.

I agree with John... I want Halvo and Chaney to get back together, get engaged, get married, all that fun stuff, buuuuut I do think they are rushing it. People change a lot in five years. Plus, I think Halvo is going to find out about Chaney and John hooking up that one time and flip out (especially since Chaney is hiding it from him).

John's engaged?! And now Halvo and Chaney?! Woah. Other than that, amazing start so far! Can't wait to read more.

I'm scared though now...When I wrote this John had different reasons to be mad about them getting engaged....Now he could have a whole different one and what you might do with that terrifies me...
