Ugh I've missed reading FOB fanfiction thank you for updating and making this good. And that blog post is so sad because he seemed like he was giving up on music. Today this day I mad that I didn't give Folie a deux a good listen, I didn't listen to the album until after SRAR and I think Folie a deux was and is such a good album that should have gotten a lot better praise. But anyway this was good and keep up the good work.

I would love to say I was supportive as well, but I didn't get into FOB until after SRAR came out, because I'm old and when they originally came out with FUTCT I was a new mom and couldn't understand what Patrick was singing and just basically ignored them. That said, I would have supported all of them if I had been a fan when the break happened because that is what you do when you love a band as much as I love them. Honestly the greatest regret I have in life is not seeing him when he was on tour with Panic! for Soul Punk. He was only 1/2 hour from my house. A half fucking hour and I could have seen and probably met my favorite singer of all time, but alas I was dumb and didn't care back then. I will regret that until the day I die.

His blog post had made me cry when I first read it and couldn't believe how rude people had been to his face and at the shows. I supported the hell outta him when he was out on his own, just like I did Black Cards and Damned Things; how could you not be proud of Patrick back then though? He got healthy and sounded so amazing. I'm still in shock how horrible he was treated.
Anyway, I'm glad you included it in the story, I always seem to forget that part of his life, not that it was bad, I just forget how bad he was treated for it.

Darling, I am so sorry to read about your family's situation. I hope, and pray, that things get resolved, or at least you come out healthy and happy. I hate to think what you're going through and since I know a slice of what you're going through, it's still hurts to read. I hope you know that you have friends here that are more than willing to hear you out, and hopefully you can find refuge here, either with talking about it or posting your stories.
