This is a beautiful idea for a story. I'm so glad to see you incorporating issues (that's not the right word, but fill it in because I'm a terrible person) such as Autism into your stories, and I cannot wait to see how it turns out. Your writing style is absolutely gorgeous, and I'm pretty sure I would be happy reading our grocery lists.
