  • Wow.

I have to say, I was not expecting this. At all. It surprised me but in the best possible way. I loved the blend of real time and flashbacks. At the beginning, with the mention of red and blue flashing lights, I really thought something terrible had happened, like an accident or that she had been hurt by someone else in some way. And by the end of it, I was definitely blown away by the fact that, not only was she having a relationship, but that he abandoned her. What a coward to leave her to deal with the fallout all alone. Poor Belle Sad

But I loved this! As I told you I would <3

  • Whoa. I wasn't expecting this, but it goes along perfectly with the song! Part of me wants to be angry with Christabelle for going back to Leroy after he abandoned her, but at the same time it's hard to leave someone when you (think you) love them. Plus, she's 16 so she is under the delusion of first love that many 16 year olds find themselves in. I really really really want to know what is going to happen next for Leroy and Belle because there are so many different paths their stories can take. I feel like, in the end though, Leroy is going to be too scared and peace out which will leave Belle heartbroken. Then years later she will look back and realized that even though he was older, he was just as dumb and cowardly as her 16 year old peers.

Wow, I got way off track (haha), but I really liked this story and appreciate you entering my T. Swift contest (again)!

  • This is funny because one of my residents last names is Buchanan. And I just talked to her not like twenty minutes ago...

Unlike most sixteen-year-old girls, she wouldn’t be messing around with some awkward boy in the back of his car or in a bedroom while praying that their parents weren’t about to come home. She would have a roaring fire and a man who knew what he was doing, a man who loved her.

This is so much like what a sixteen year old would think. Forgive me I don't know the song but this line of your story is by far my favorite.

The whole story its self is beautiful. It flows from beginning to end, the memories mixed with the real time and the emotions. You did a lovely job. :)
