Is the last chapter the last chapter or an epilogue?? I'm so sad I don't want this to end and I don't not want Phil and Nora to get together!! :-(

I'm sobbing....ok, on the inside because my husband would tease me but for sure my eyes are all teary right now. I love that Phil respects and understands Nora's need to go after her dreams, and I love Nora for holding strong and not ditching that dream for a guy. I just want her to cast her dream net out a little further, say to Toronto. Because if a paper in Pittsburgh wants her, surely there must be one there too. Can't wait for the last chapter but also sad to see this end.

Straight up crying right now....I want to strangle Nora and be like fuck the job and go to Phil, he's more important than any job could ever be.

I have no idea how your going to play the next chapter and epilogue out to HOPEFULLY (fingers crossed) get them together. I feel like an addict waiting for the one last final part.

omg.. his email broke me. I CRIED, OMGANKDLADA, Nora is me. (fetal position sobbing) I love the fact that Nora is being strong and not throwing her job out the window for a guy. I like that about her. But I'm also wanting her to do what she told herself not to do. LOL it makes me sad, because I don't want them hurting. I WANT THEM HAPPY.

I almost got mad at her though when she turned off her phone, I thought she wasn't going to call or talk to him, GIVE HIM A RESPONSE, SOMETHING, but I continued and she did.

I don't think I'm ready for this story to end.

@ soupy - When I decided to write Kessel, I immediately wanted to write him with a reporter. I wanted it to be awkward and a bit like opposites attract. Except, I don't think true introverts can cope long with a relationship with a true extrovert, so I also wanted Nora to have things in common with him.

@ H_DIZZLE - I'm going to take the speechlessness as a compliment. :-) Unfortunately, there are only two more chapters left. And a short epilogue that is about half the size of my normal chapters. Hopefully, I'll still deliver an ending that satisfies. I'm one of those poeple that can't seem to keep a fic going for more than about twenty chapters or so.

The day before the end is absolutely the worst. It is so difficult to stay in the moment when the end of such an exquisite visit is looming.

Come on, Nora. You haven't even started this new job yet. Phil has got to have some connections in town - at least to get her foot in the door.

It is kinda ironic that one of the worst interviews in the NHL is involved with a reporter. Maybe one of the local papers will see the humour in it and take a chance.

Every chapter you post I sit here trying to comment after each one and I can't seem to find the words that I'm looking for to describe how I feel. All I can say though is that I don't want this to end in two more chapters because that seems too soon.

@ midnightmssuki - I think a pool table and Phil would be a great combo. He could give "lessons". ::wink wink::
