Wow!! That was definitely a bombshell with Rich surprising everyone with his new boyfriend. Whenever that happens in real life and in movies there is so much angst, rejection and drama. I'm really happy you didn't go that route. His family embraced the idea pretty quickly:)
I hope Jo sees this is for the best and isn't mean or angry with James. And thankfully it's not quite what they thought. Hopefully this is easier to treat.
Wow, hopefully THIS will get Jo to face her problems and stop denying/avoiding them. Also, glad to see that her dad is being nicer to James. It's a hard time for all of them, and Jo needs them to all band together, not fight amongst themselves. Can't wait to see that happens next.
@ Thatmom Thank you so much for that comment. I really do hope that the issues I cover in this story are projected in an accurate and respectful manner.
@ dogandbutterfly@ soupy@ Thatmom You all are just on point with your comments. Jo's in a rough patch in her life but so is everyone else because of what's happening to her. More will be revealed soon. Now I really can't wait for you all to see what's going to happen next! Thanks for sharing your thoughts once again!
Well, I hope that maybe Jo will recognize that she needs some help -- and that it's not James' fault. Or anyone's. At least he got to see the baby, though. That's one bright spot!
It really sounds like Jo is having trouble adjusting to life with a child. She has opted out of her marriage, snapped at her mother, and denied her husband access to his only child. The fact that Jo is "masking" her feelings almost makes me think she had post-partum depression that went undiagnosed.
Raising a baby is hard - even when both parents are actively participating - but when you are doing it on your own, even if it is self-imposed, well, that is doubly draining. And if you are having emotional issues on top of that....well, it is no wonder that Jo is almost ready to break
She definitely has no right to keep James from his son. Hopefully, her admission about not knowing what is wrong is the first step towards getting to the bottom of things and fixing them. Love it so far:)
@ hockey718729@ dogandbutterfly Drama seems to be my forte (and favorite) but no worries, it's not all sad times here. Im glad you guys like it so far! More coming your way!
Again, I couldn't leave the first comment! Glad someone could! Also glad you're back, but frustrated that Jo seems stuck again. Hopefully this series will shed some light on her problems -- and, more importantly, a solution!
